Konami’s football sim received a major update this week. In fact, eFootball has been updated to version 6.0.0 on consoles, PC, and mobile.

Among the changes to the free-to-play game, we can highlight the introduction of custom tournaments with single-elimination competitions that can accommodate up to eight players. In addition, game plans now feature a more flexible system, additional play styles have been added, and the Outnumbered team play style makes its debut.

Also, new coaches with two different setups are now included, and the way position-specific training works has been modified. New mini-games have even been added to Game of the Day.

In terms of gameplay, dynamic volley shots are now possible. New player, shooting, and goalkeeper animations are available. Finally, additional cutscenes have been added, and stadium announcements have been updated.
