Hello Games refuses to discuss Light No Fire, even though it’s tuite far along
It was in December 2023 that the creators of No Man’s Sky unveiled their next game. Light No Fire is an online experience in which players will explore a vast planet populated by amazing creatures.
Since No Man’s Sky just celebrated its tenth anniversary, Eurogamer interviewed Sean Murray, the president of Hello Games, about the upcoming, extremely ambitious open-world title. For now, he’s refusing to say too much to avoid repeating the same mistakes made at the launch of No Man’s Sky.
If we are to believe what he says, Light No Fire is relatively far along. It’s also playable internally.
"You know, I’ve learned a very important lessonof not talking about things beforehand. I will say, we are so far beyond the point where we should have said something by now in terms of what we have on screen, of what we’re playing every day.
I think at some point we will, you know, let people see more of the game, and I think that it will be very exciting for people when they do see that. I think what I am looking at every day is well past the point any other studio would be talking about their game and showing more."
Murray added that he sometimes struggles not to talk about Light No Fire, but that working on the game is "such a joy."
