Stellar Blade: Blood Rain was freshly announced during the Summer Game Fest last June and already is eagerly anticipated by fans of the first game. In its latest financial report, Shift Up specifically mentioned this sequel.

Of course, the South Korean studio did not provide any new details about the game. The developer simply stated that development is "progressing smoothly toward the level of quality we’re targeting." Furthermore, Shift Up hopes that Stellar Blade: Blood Rain will surpass the success of its predecessor thanks to its self-publishing model and existing fan base.

What’s more, the studio reconfirmed that the first Stellar Blade will be released on Switch 2 later this year.
