Remedy announces 3 million sales for Alan Wake 2 and 1.5 million wishlists for Control Resonant

Remedy Entertainment has just released its financial results for the half-year ended June 30, 2026. Of course, this provides an opportunity to review several key figures.

First, Jean-Charles Gaudechon, CEO of the Finnish studio, stated that revenue reached 10.2 million euros from April 1 to June 30, 2026. This represents a 40% year-over-year decline. Development costs, meanwhile, rose to 6.4 million euros. It’s worth mentioning that these include the production of Control Resonant and Max Payne 1 & 2. The latter is still in active development.

Meanwhile, Alan Wake 2 has now sold over 3 million copies since its release in October 2023. As for Control Resonant, it has surpassed 1.5 million wishlists across all platforms. Keep in mind that its release is still scheduled for September 24, 2026.
