Capcom updates its list of titles with over one million sales

Japanese publisher Capcom is having a very successful 2026, with excellent releases and results. Resident Evil Requiem, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, and even Pragmata—it’s been one hit after another.

With Onimusha: Way of the Sword set to launch in September 2026, the major expansion Ascendance for Monster Hunter Wilds, and the long-awaited arrival of Resident Evil Veronica in 2027, Capcom seems to be firing on all cylinders.

The list of Platinum titles—those that have sold over one million copies—has been updated… and there are now 128 games in their catalog that have earned this prestigious distinction. Sales figures for the second quarter of 2026 (March 31 to June 30) have been added, and here are the most notable changes:

  • Resident Evil 4 Remake + 2.4 million
  • Resident Evil 2 Remake + 1.4 million
  • Resident Evil 3 Remake + 1.2 million

Not to mention Pragmata, which has sold 2.5 million copies since its release on April 17, 2026. As a reminder, Capcom’s top three best-selling games are Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition (22.40 million units), Resident Evil 2 Remake (19.70 million), and Monster Hunter Rise (19.30 million).

On the other hand, among the least-selling games—though they still managed to reach one million in sales—we find Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition from 2006 (1.00 million), Street Fighter Alpha 3 from 1998 (1.00 million), and Final Fight 2 from 1993 (1.03 million)
