Take-Two currently has 29 games in development
In its financial report, Take-Two revealed that it currently has 29 games in development. While this number may seem surprising at first glance, it’s important to remember that this industry giant owns numerous companies and labels, which in turn own their own subsidiary studios. Here is a list of the main ones:
- Rockstar Games (GTA, Red Dead Redemption)
- 2K (NBA, WWE, BioShock, Borderlands, Mafia, Civilization…)
- Gearbox Entertainment & Gearbox Software (Tiny Tina, Homeworld…) fully acquired in June 2024
- Zynga (mobile games)
- Ghost Story Games (Judas)
Returning to our 29 games, they span various categories, including mobile and sports. In total, three games are in development for mobile, two of which have already been announced: CSR 3 and Top Goal. On the sports side, NBA 2K27, PGA 2K27, and WWE 2K27 are the three announced titles among the eight currently in development, leaving the majority still undisclosed.
As for new franchises, three new titles are planned: Judas and Project ETHOS are already known, while the third remains a mystery.
Finally, 15 other projects are still in the pipeline, including eight sequels and seven remakes, remasters, or expansions. Of course, the highly anticipated GTA VI falls into this latter category.
