Devolver Digital could become a private company again this year

Devolver Digital, a publisher best known for its indie games and plenty of cult classics, may soon change its status. The company is getting ready to delist from the London Stock Exchange.

After going public in November 2021, Devolver Digital has seen its share price plummet by 96.80%, now standing at just £6. The company’s market capitalization stands at 34.64 million pounds (approximately 40.4 million euros).

In a statement to investors, the company announced its intention to delist by the end of the year. The matter will be decided on September 8, 2026, during a vote at the annual general meeting.

If the vote is in favor, Devolver will once again become a private company as of September 16, 2026. Management believes that the current share price "does not reflect the true market value."
