Assassin's Creed Valhalla's director Eriz Batizat is back at Ubisoft as game director for the IP
Ubisoft has just seen a minor organizational change, specifically within the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
Eric Baptizat is now the new game director for the entire series. He had already worked at the company between July 2005 and April 2021, most notably as director of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and as lead game designer on Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. From April 2021 to July 2026, Baptizat was also at EA Motive as game director on the Dead Space remake and Battlefield 6.
It remains to be seen in which direction will he take the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
