Just as promised, Square Enix has finally released FINAL FANTASY XIV Online on Switch 2. There are a few editions available through the eShop now. In all cases, the MMO is approximately 117 GB.

The Starter Edition, which includes only the base game, is priced at €14.99. Meanwhile, the Complete Edition sits at €54.99 (€38.49 through August 12, 2026) and includes all expansions up to Dawntrail. The Complete Collector’s Edition, retails at €109.99 (€76.99 through August 12, 2026), also includes all in-game bonuses from each expansion. All three editions come with 30 days of free play.

Finally, there’s also a free trial that lets you play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn and three expansions, Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers, without any subscription. However, features are more limited when playing with other players. The level cap is 80 instead of 100, and only 18 of the 22 jobs are available. Additionally, you cannot access raids, PvP content, or the housing feature.
