A Halo: Campaign Evolved mod brings local co-op to the PC version
While the three versions of Halo: Campaign Evolved are virtually identical, there’s something missing on PC: split-screen co-op mode. Fortunately, there’s a way to enjoy it…
In fact, you can get it thanks to a mod available on Nexus Mods. The feature actually exists officially on PC, but Halo Studios chose to disable it. Thus, this mod fixes that by using the code that’s already present in the game.
Note, however, that the feature is limited to two players, compared to four on consoles. What’s more, the mod only works on the Steam version of Halo: Campaign Evolved. The version available via the Microsoft Store is not compatible.
