News straight of the Argonaut Games’ YouTube channel! Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos*, the sequel to Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, will also be remastered to bring the experience up to modern standards. The first game had already been remastered in 2025 and released on modern platforms.

The plan appears to be similar to that for the first game: visual and gameplay improvements, while preserving the essence of the game. In this installment, players join Croc as he sets off for the continent in search of his long-lost parents, only to discover that his old enemy, Baron Dante, has been brought back to life.

This second installment also includes the Croc2pedia, a collection of behind-the-scenes content: interviews with developers, cut scenes, and even design documents.

In a press release, Argonaut Games co-CEO Mike Arkin stated:

"We made no secret of the fact that if Croc did well on the market, the obvious next project would be to remaster Croc 2. […] Croc’s successful comeback exceeded our expectations, which made the decision easy. Croc 2 has always been the plan, once we saw how fans embraced the first remaster."

Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos is expected to come out in the fourth quarter of 2026.
