The sequel to the acclaimed Lovecraftian survival horror The Sinking City is back with a brand-new 12-minute gameplay trailer titled Meat for the Grindmaws.

It showcases plenty of interesting elements, including environments that are as well-crafted as ever and creatures that are just as terrifying. The atmosphere is clearly just as gloomy as in the first game, enough to unsettle those who aren’t used to it.

The publisher has also provided some details, confirming that HDR support is planned for some time after launch, as well as a New Game+ mode available at launch. As is often the case, this game mode allows you to carry over your stats, bonuses, and items so you can tackle tougher challenges and unlock a host of achievements, cosmetic rewards, and even new gameplay features.
