News aren’t looking good for The Left Behind, a post-apocalyptic survival game that came out on Steam this July 27.

Plenty bugs and performance issues are ruining the experience, not to mention the lack of manual saves. User feedback was swift, and the game currently has a 16% positive rating on the platform.

The only developer has publicly apologized and acknowledged the work that needs to be done. He confirmed that a manual save system is now the top priority, along with numerous fixes and improvements based on player feedback.

"Yesterday was the launch of The Left Behind. It didn’t go as I’d hoped. […] It’s clear from your feedback that I didn’t deliver the zombie survival experience you were expecting."
