GOG announces that the Galaxy launcher is coming soon to Linux
The GOG store, which became independent following its split from CD Projekt last December, will soon be fully available on Linux devices.
The GOG Galaxy launcher will make itsdebut on Linux soon. This application allows users to view games purchased from the online store and other retailers through a unified library. It also provides a variety of statistics, such as hours played and achievements earned.
In a statement to GamingOnLinux, GOG co-CEO Krzysztof Papliński revealed that porting GOG Galaxy to Linux is a "major project" that required hiring someone specialized in this operating system.
However, there’s no release date for this yet.
