While the Baltic Powers expansion for the excellent Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition had initially been canceled, World’s Edge and Forgotten Empires have gone back on their decision.

This DLC will finally be released on September 10, 2026, on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. Two new civilizations, the Danes and the Poles, make their debut, and there are more than 25 themed maps included. Add to that the Regicide and Independence game modes, as well as over fifty hero customizations from the Hero Cosmetic Pack – Vol. 2.

Finally, an open beta is available through August 6.
