Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil movie, set to hit theaters on September 16, 2026. This feature film directed by Zach Cregger will break away from its predecessors while also diverging from the video games.

As a reminder, viewers will follow the horror-filled saga of Bryan, an organ courier whose mission is to deliver a package to the hospital in Raccoon City. Once there, the protagonist will, of course, face zombies and other creatures spawned by an epidemic.
