As a reminder, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is set to get remade for the Switch 2 this year. However, aside from a simple teaser last month, Nintendo hasn’t revealed anything else about this highly anticipated project.

However, GameStop may have let the cat out of the bag regarding the pre-order start date. The U.S. video game retailer has updated the remake’s listing, which now shows pre-orders opening on August 4, 2026.

The Japanese company could therefore make an announcement in just under three weeks via a Nintendo Direct dedicated to this new version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
