Another week begins with layoffs. Indeed, 11 bit studios has just parted ways with several members of its staff.

The studio, known for the Frostpunk franchise and The Alters, has laid off 20 employees. This move is intended to « align our team structures with the current phases of our projects ».

« We were able to arrange internal transfers for the majority of our employees so they can continue their careers within the company, and we are committed to ensuring that employees leaving the company receive the appropriate support throughout this process. »

In 2024, 11 bit studios had already laid off an unknown number of employees following the cancellation of a game tentatively titled « Project 8 ».
