Ever since its release back in September 2019 for mobile devices, Mario Kart Tour quickly gained widespread popularity thanks to its addictive gameplay. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end…

Nintendo has just announced that the servers will shut down on September 30, 2026, at 7 a.m. BST. From that point onwards, the game will no longer be playable, as the Japanese company has no plans to offer an offline version.

Note that Rubies (the game’s premium currency) will no longer be sold as of today.
