Despite its studio closing down, Edge of Memories will still come out this year
Last week, Midgar Studio was placed in bankruptcy. The Montpellier-based studio is owned by Nacon, a publisher currently in big trouble following the insolvency of its parent company, Bigben Interactive.
As a result, there were fears that the single-player action-RPG in development for consoles and PC Edge of Memories would be canceled outright. On X, the game’s official account has confirmed that the project is secure and will indeed be released this year. A physical edition has even been confirmed for PS5 and XBOX Series X.
