As expected, Microsoft has confirmed a price increase for its home consoles. The following changes apply worldwide.

Starting August 1, 2026, the 512 GB XBOX Series models will cost $100 more, and the 1 TB models will cost $150 more. Additionally, XBOX Series models with a 2 TB SSD will no longer be produced. The American company, of course, points to the cost of storage and memory, which has more than doubled. Microsoft even predicts that prices will double again by fall 2027.

To avoid discouraging potential future buyers too much, Microsoft has introduced payment plans. Options include interest-free financing, Buy Now, Pay Later plans, and discounted used consoles offered through partner retailers. Finally, certified refurbished XBOX consoles are available on the Microsoft Store.
