ViewSonic has announced a new PC monitor designed for the Chinese market. It is the VX24G26J-4K, which offers a rather unique combination of features for a product of this type.

The monitor features a 23.8-inch panel with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K) and a refresh rate of 160 Hz. Typically, models with such a high refresh rate are limited to Full HD resolution.

Other notable features include a 1 ms GtG response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits of brightness, and 8-bit color depth. This model is HDR10-compatible and VESA DisplayHDR 400-certified. It also supports Adaptive-Sync, AMD FreeSync, and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies. Finally, the connectivity panel includes a DisplayPort 1.4 port, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a headphone jack. The stand is height-adjustable.

In China, the ViewSonic VX24G26J-4K retails for approximately €283 before tax. We do not know if it will be released globally.
