As announced by Bungie on May 21, the Destiny 2 update set to roll out on June 9, 2026, will be the last. There will be no further content patches after that, bringing an end to the development of the game, which launched in 2017.

Ahead of the release of this update, titled “Monument of Triumphs,” the American studio has posted a trailer online. Features such as the Pantheon, the Sparrow Racing League, and the Distortions are featured in it. Additionally, a new Triumph hunt celebrating the Guardians’ adventure in Destiny 2 will be available.
