Maverick Games has announced Clutch, a new racing game from a former Forza Horizon director
After several weeks of teasers, Maverick Games has finally announced its very first title. It’s a racing game called Clutch, set to release in spring 2027.
The studio, which was founded by Mike Brown, a former creative director on Forza Horizon 5, has released an in-engine trailer. This does not include gameplay footage. For that, we’ll have to wait until the Summer Game Fest this Friday, June 5. Maverick will be streaming a new trailer there that will reveal the setting of Clutch and other elements related to its storyline.
In addition to racing, Clutch will feature extremely detailed vehicle customization. For example, you’ll be able to customize the interior of each car by adding various details such as tickets on the dashboard, clothes on the passenger seat, and much more.
The 4K version of the trailer will be released later today.
