Following being a hit with the press, 007 First Light is already on the verge of commercial success. It must be a huge relief for IO Interactive, which has released initial sales figures for its action-adventure game.

The latest James Bond adventure sold 1.5 million copies in 24 hours. That total is expected to go up in the coming days, and even more so with the release of the Switch 2 version later this summer.

On Steam, 007 First Light has peaked at 68,477 concurrent players.
